Wigan and Leigh College are looking to recruit to its successful Engineering department, based at its Centre of Engineering Excellence, Pagefield Campus, an experienced lecturer who has the ability to deliver a range of Electrical/Electronic Engineering courses, specialising in Electrical Power from level 3 to L6 BEng(Hons) degree level.

You don’t need to be an established Lecturer to apply for this position, we will consider innovative and creative engineers for this post. Wigan and Leigh College is a further education college in Wigan, Greater Manchester, which has been providing education and training locally for more than 150 years. It employs around 1,000 staff and has a student roll of about 17,000. Further education students can choose the A-level professional honours programme or vocational qualifications such as BTECs. An expanding higher education portfolio of foundation degrees, top-up degrees, higher nationals and certificates is available to adult students of all ages, both full-time and part-time. 

Wigan and Leigh College operates from several sites across the borough: the Parson’s Walk Centre, School for the Arts and Pagefield Centre are in Wigan, close to the town centre. The Image Centre and Leigh College are close to the town centre of Leigh.
