About the role:
The post holder will be responsible for providing effective teaching and tutoring to students studying Access programmes at Level 3, in relation to engineering and science. The diplomas have strong maths components so you need to be confident teaching maths at Level 3. The post holder may be required to teach on science-related programmes at Level 2 and deliver study skills units.
About you:
With appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in Science and Engineering education sector, you will have a teaching qualification or the commitment to undertake one during the first term of contract. You will have a history of teaching within a vocational (or similar) context to a high standard, with personal/group tutoring experience and of teaching a variety of programme units at Level 2 and Level 3. You must have the ability to communicate with students and to motivate and support them in their studies.

Westminster Kingsway College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college in the London Borough of Camden and the London Borough of Westminster, serving pupils from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 14,000 students on record every year.
Westminster Kingsway College was founded in 2000 after the amalgamation of Westminster College and Kingsway College. It has learning centres across London in King’s Cross, Regents Park, Camden, Victoria and Soho. It offers students a number of full and part time courses including A levels and vocational courses at Level 1, 2, and 3.
