Have you previously taught in Engineering? Have you recently left the profession but would be willing to return to help out occasionally? Or would you like to return to teaching or training? Could you help us to ensure young people get the education they deserve despite the challenging times we find ourselves in?

We have immediate casual cover hours available for both teaching and technicians in:

  • Automotive – light vehicle
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Welding and Fabrication
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Automotive – Body and Paint

Location: Castleford Campus, West Yorkshire, WF10 4UA

Salary: Competitive hourly rates of pay.

You will support a team of highly motivated and qualified professionals, working to achieve the college’s mission of “Transforming lives through learning, by enabling young people, adults and employers to fulfil their potential”.

You will be delivering from our purpose-built, state of the art Castleford Campus where we have the most up to date engineering technology and workshops or delivering on-line to our students.

As a Teacher/ Lecturer or Technician you should have:

  • Relevant industry experience
  • Qualifications within your specialist area
  • Previous experience of teaching Engineering / Automotive, ideally to 16-18 year olds (Teacher/Lecturer role only)
