Job overview
South Thames College are now looking for a Lecturer in Business to deliver outstanding quality teaching, learning, assessment, and tutorial support to students, to maximise achievement and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum, with employer engagement, and learner skill development central.
We’re looking for someone who holds a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and who has proven recent experience of teaching Business levels 1-3 in an FE College or School. With a successful track record of tutoring and supporting learners, you will have strong working knowledge of current Business BTEC framework for teaching, learning, assessment, and quality assurance, and have strong evidence of effective employer engagement in curriculum design and delivery. We’d also like you to hold a degree (or equivalent) in Business and be competent in programming languages, data modelling and website development.
