As a major provider of further, higher and adult education to over 10,000 students, our staff have quality at the heart of everything they do.

We currently run a Level 2, Level 3 and FdA in Media skills and are looking for a dynamic, pro-active, highly organised and effective Course Leader for the Level 3 aspect of this delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity in a thriving and successful part of the provision. You will produce module study guides and/or schemes of work, monitor their delivery, supervise assessment, provide internal verification and liaise with external verifiers / moderators as required. You will also take responsibility for the awarding body requirements and for ensuring programmes of work are conceived and delivered in ways which meet the needs of individual leaners.

This role is for an individual with skills in Media production and process, ideas development, audio visual production, editorial, pre and post Production Management, and Film and Media Studies skills.

Hardworking and flexible, the successful candidate will have excellent teaching skills and be recognised as a good or better teacher. With a Degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject, you will have high personal standards and expectations, and experience of successfully monitoring and supporting ‘at-risk’ learners to achieve or exceed their potential.

With the ability to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines, you will be receptive to new ideas and initiatives and have a creative approach to problem solving. We’d also like you to have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills and have a strong commitment to equality and diversity, safeguarding, personalised learning and the provision of educational excellence.
