Hours/FTE: 37 hours per week, 1.0 FTE

We are looking for a focused and professional individual to teach electrical installation and manage learning from entry level to level 4 including work based learning.

The postholder will proactively contribute to curriculum and self-development and will identify and assess students' / apprentices' needs whilst planning, designing, developing and delivering high quality learning programmes and sessions that drive student progress and outcomes. 

You will undertake assessment, verification and self-assessment processes and delivery of all aspects of Apprenticeship training, including portfolio building to support apprentices' progress and achievement.

A key part of the role will also be to establish and maintain productive relationships with employers, parents / carers to promote the work of the College and students' progress. You will ensure effective recruitment, attendance, retention, achievement, progression and destinations of students / apprentices and continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of learning programmes and sessions.

West Lancashire College is a mixed, non-denominational, further education college, situated in Skelmersdale in Lancashire. The community-based college has 3,500 learners, both young people and adults of all abilities and backgrounds, and operates in association with NCG, a national provider of further and higher education and apprenticeship training.
