Vision for Education are looking to recruit a part time, outstanding Lecturer in Games on behalf of a client Education provider in Newcastle. They are looking for a confident and proactive individual to join a busy team.
Our client is seeking a computer games or software development specialist who can contribute to the development and delivery of both their FE and undergraduate courses using a range of teaching methods and ways of supporting student learning. In particular, you will contribute to the development and delivery of the department’s courses in games design and development.
Ideally, you will possess development experience that includes:
- Full understanding of the Unity API
- Strong knowledge of C# / Java / C++ programming language
- Strong knowledge of Object Orientated Programming
- Desirable experience could include experience with
- Monogame
- Cocos2D
- Multiplayer Games
- Android API's.
You will be able to develop exciting, dynamic and creative learning experiences for students at various levels. In addition, you will be a strong, professional, positive communicator, who is able, for example, to contribute to positive team building and collaborative work, not just within computing but across a full department.
The position is will start ASAP and has the potential to become permanent.
The salary for this position will be £23 per hour. NQT’s and experienced teachers are welcome and encouraged to apply.
