Joining us Lecturer in GCE Biology, you will teach on one or more of the courses provided by the School, contributing to the development of existing and new provision and the implementation of flexible and cost effective teaching and learning styles.
Ensuring that your students meet and exceed their targets, you will provide a high quality student experience and work on teaching schemes, assessment schedules and student monitoring. Contribution to self-assessment, timetabling and staff development also forms parts of this role.
We’re looking for a hardworking and flexible individual who has energy, enthusiasm and passion for Biology and education. You will need to be Degree qualified (or possess equivalent relevant professional qualifications) and have a good awareness of academic quality standards. You should have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills along with a keen eye for detail. We also ask that you are able to use new technologies to enhance teaching and learning, be receptive to new ideas and initiatives and have a creative approach to problem solving.
