Wakefield Sixth Form, situated in the newly refurbished City Campus, has a strong academic ethos; working towards excellence for our students and helping each individual to achieve their full potential. The overall A Level pass rate is consistently high, at 97% and above.
History is a popular subject in Wakefield Sixth Form and enrolments have seen considerable growth over the last few years. As Lecturer, you will teach A Level History and will act as Personal Tutor to a group of students. You’ll be joining a professional, dedicated and experienced team of teachers in a positive and supportive environment where staff enjoy a good level of camaraderie and have high expectations of themselves and their students.
To meet our high expectations you’ll need to be a qualified history professional who is passionate and enthusiastic about your area of expertise and committed to keeping abreast of current changes in learning and careers so what you teach is always relevant for our students.
