CHENGDU (FIXED TERM FOR ONE YEAR),

POST NO: LC0347F

Salary: Lecturer Scale, points 1-7 i.e. £23,085.00 - £32,925.00 pro rata per annum (and if eligible up to one discretionary point - £34,935.00). Plus an additional GBP 5,000 overseas allowance pro rata per annum.

Working 37 hours, 29 weeks, you will provide the highest quality educational experience in accountancy programmes using vocational knowledge and experience to deliver teaching, learning and assessment that inspires students and prepares them for progression to employment in the sector or higher education. You will contribute to the development of the curriculum in line with local, regional and national needs and contribute to the positioning of these courses as the premier local choice for accounting students in China. This post is based at Chengdu Polytechnic College, but may involve teaching at other centres.

Position requirements:

  • AAT qualification
  • Degree and or masters in accounting or related fields of study
  • Has a record of work experience in the industry.
  • Recent and Relevant teaching experience
  • Excellent English Language Skills - Fluent English Speaker Desirable
  • IELTS of above 7 if Non-Native English Speaker
