About the role:

To teach in a range of Biology specialist units on all levels of our Applied Science qualifications, assist in delivering the tutorial programme attached to those qualifications, and act as a personal tutor.

About you:

You will need to teach a range of Biology specialist units in our Level 2 and Level 3 Applied Science qualifications, as well as deliver tutorial sessions and provide pastoral support to an assigned number of learners. You will be responsible for preparing lessons and corresponding teaching materials, keeping them up to date in a VLE system. You will also need to prepare and mark assessments in agreement with the Awarding Body’s requirements for the qualification. Finally, you will report attendance and achievement using common progress monitoring tools.
