 About the role:  We are looking for an outstanding Lecturer in Art and Design to take responsibility for the teaching, delivery and assessment of vocational units on Art & Design Programmes at the Centre for Business, Arts and Technology within the Visual Arts Curriculum Area from Level 2 - Level 4 but predominantly at Level 2, 3 and 4. You will act as a Personal Tutor to vocational students and help in raising, retention achievement and levels of attendance & punctuality and have the ability to teach and assess Key Skills on Vocational Art & Design Courses from Level 2 – Level 3 mainly to 16-19 year old students  

About you:  You will have a sound knowledge and clear understanding of the issues and challenges in Post 16 education within an FE environment, including curriculum and potential changes in the future. You will also have experience and the ability to communicate with and motivate a group of challenging art & design students as their course tutor on the level 3 Foundation Diploma or Art & Design courses.    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… As of 1st of August 2016, City & Islington and Westminster Kingsway Colleges have merged to create the first College Group in London.
