The Sixth Form at Chesterfield College has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to join their team. The successful candidate will be a clear communicator with a passion for their subject and hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject. Applicants should be willing to contribute to the development of new and existing courses and be able to inspire and motivate learners, to work within quality procedures and to enhance the programme’s external connections.

Ideally you should have experience of teaching and managing A-level Biology. The successful applicant would also be able to teach across other qualifications such as GCSE Science, Access to HE and L3 BTEC Applied Science.

A proven record of raising student aspirations and the possession of a teacher training qualification is essential. The ability to offer other provision (Physics and Chemistry) would be a distinct advantage.
