As the ‘Further Education College of the year 2019’, we have an opportunity for a part-time hourly paid Lecturer in Book-keeping & Accounting. 


The ‘Professions, Innovation and Enterprise Academy’ is an exciting new entity within Sandwell College.  With aspirations for rapid growth, the Academy is actively searching for exceptionally motivated and talented people to join its enthusiastic, go-getting staff team.  If you have the ambition, ability and energy to lead on the development and delivery of the Academy’s suite of high quality, innovative ‘Management and Leadership’ programmes, then this could be the job for you! 


This role offers a unique opportunity to become a key player in the establishment of a Centre of Excellence in Managerial and Professional Education and Training at a cutting-edge, entrepreneurial, fast-growing College. 


The successful candidate, will have an AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent qualification at Level 4 or above (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CIPFA) and hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET) or an equivalent qualification. You will also have at least one year’s experience of delivering ‘successful’ courses in Book-keeping and/or Accounting to adult learners in an F.E./H.E. setting or similar training environment.
