Maternity Cover up to 12 months

Salary: Up to £23,061 per annum / pro rata (unqualified teacher status) 
Up to £33,890 per annum / pro rata (qualified teacher status) 

Due to a rapid growth in provision, Eastleigh College is looking for two lecturers to join the Technology division and teach within the Built Environment learning area.  By spring 2017, the Built Environment department will be moving into a new purpose built Technology block with dedicated CADD suites and the most up to date facilities.

This role will require excellent communication and organisational skills, coupled with excellent Built Environment industry experience to develop the potential of students within the area.  We would welcome applications from graduates with the relevant industry experience. Your experience in industry could come from Design, Site Management or Civil Engineering pathway.

You will teach students in the 16-19 age group who are undertaking full-time vocational courses and Apprenticeships at level 3, as well as part-time 19+ students who are looking to develop their skills.

  • Construction Technology
  • Building Surveying
  • Graphical Detailing

We are looking for a lecturer with a teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent), however full training can be offered to achieve qualified teacher status.
