The main focus of this role is to teach Vocational Business across Levels 1, 2 and 3 and be a personal tutor on these courses. The school also offers HNC/D qualifications and therefore there may also be some teaching at levels 4 and 5. The vocational courses are predominantly coursework based and therefore we seek an innovative practitioner to design engaging coursework assignments that inspire learners. So if you have energy, enthusiasm and passion for Business and education, then we want to hear from you! All that we ask is that you are hardworking and flexible and hold a Degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject. You’ll also have good teaching skills in BTEC Business and related subjects, an awareness of academic quality standards and the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress.

A teaching qualification is not essential; however, we do ask that you are willing to achieve one within five years of commencing employment.
