Can you inspire a future generation of film makers, visual effects artists and creative production practitioners? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, well-resourced and highly productive Creative Media production and technology department. We provide highly creative young people with creative vocational courses across subjects including Film Making, Games Design and Animation, Visual FX, Digital Design, and TV production.

We are proud of our continued success and growth in this area. Our ambitious approach to highly practical vocational learning at level 2 through to HE Level 5 and development of new Level 6 degree, results in our students progressing to the best media institutions like Bournemouth, Ravensbourne, UCA, UAL, Royal Holloway and Westminster to name a few.

You will have an excellent proven track record of teaching, learning and assessment and development of practical and vocational programmes from a mixture of awarding bodies as well as a current and strong understanding of curriculum opportunities and developments in creative media production (and FE education). 

As a key member of a diverse and highly skilled team delivering UALAB, Access and HE courses in partnership with other institutions, you will have a strong ability to develop productive relationships with your colleagues, learners and new opportunities with external partners. Your ideas of how employable skills can be creatively included in the curriculum and assessing learner progress will be innovative and motivating as well as thorough. 

Expertise in teaching a variety of creative skills and work related learning, as well as supporting learners at various levels is essential. Recognised as an area of growth and investment, the drive and ability to develop curriculum and teach across various levels is required.
