Role Title: Lecturer in Digital Technologies

Location: Deeside

Contract Type: Full Time - Fixed Term until 30/07/2022

Salary: £26,911 - £41,598

Coleg Cambria are now looking to recruit a Lecturer in Digital Technologies to join our Institute of Technology on a Fixed Term contract based at our Deeside site.

As Lecturer in Digital Technologies you will be responsible for delivering a range of courses, including BTEC Level 3 IT and AS Level ICT. With this in mind we are looking for somebody who has skills and experience in a wide range of IT systems, tools, and software/hardware. This could potentially include some of the below areas, depending on the skills of the successful applicant -

  • Information Technology Systems
  • Set Up and Configure Technology Systems 
  • Exploring Current and Emerging Technologies
  • Security Protection and Risk Management
  • Working as an IT Support Technician
  • Digital 2D and 3D Graphics
  • Digital Animation and Effects
  • The Internet of Things
  • Enterprise in IT
  • Data Modelling
  • Cloud Storage and Collaboration Tools
  • AS ICT subject

Essential Requirements

  • PGCE Qualified 
  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in a professionally relevant subject (Eg: Information Technology, Digital Technologies, Software Engineering)
  • Previous experience of delivering IT/Digital Technologies curriculum to Level 3 
  • The ideal candidate would also have experience or knowledge of delivering A Level or exam-based BTEC qualifications
