The post holder should be able to support students as both a personal and academic tutor and contribute to a range of theoretical and practical modules at undergraduate level. Year two students undertake a placement and so the ability to coordinate and then work with students and the educational settings to set up productive visits is important.

Modules that may be part of the post holder’s timetable over the next two semesters include: Inclusive education, Introduction to professional contexts, Introduction to Teaching, Working with diverse communities, International Perspectives on education and Principles of research The range of teaching duties and, specifically the modules to be taught, will partly rely on the expertise and experience of the applicant and therefore are negotiable on appointment.

A check with the disclosure and barring service will be undertaken for this post.
