Job overview

Due to an increase in student enrolments we are looking to recruit a pro-active and preferably an experienced Lecturer to teach the theory and practice of Electrical/Electronic Engineering in the School of Engineering, Construction, Business and IT at our Merton Campus. You will need to have good administrative skills for preparing lesson plans, schemes of work, quality files, internal verification and to support the paperwork required for recording student’s achievements.

It is desirable that the candidate is able teach the theory and practice of BTEC Electrical/Electronic Engineering curriculum in the School, ranging from level 1 to level 4. The individual will contribute to the Engineering team and develop programmes of work, working in our fantastic new purpose built classrooms and workshops.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree or relevant professional qualification and a Certificate of education/ PGCE or the willingness to complete this qualification within two years.
