As a Lecturer at Trafford College your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maximising learner recruitment, retention and success through the provision of an outstanding educational experience which enable learners to maximise their potential.
  • Delivering outstanding courses which meet learner needs through the use of a diverse range of teaching and learning strategies, allowing learners to access a comprehensive range of resources and providing comprehensive assessment opportunities.
  • Completing and maintaining effective data in relation to learners including, attendance, individual learner targets, progression, achievement and destination.

Being responsible for a course/courses of study and learner outcome. With a Level 4 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and relevant teaching experience, you will have an awareness of the strategies needed to improve retention and raise achievement. A Level 2 qualification in English and Maths and a PGCE/Certificate in Education (or equivalent) will be essential or a commitment to complete this within 2 years. NQT’s with relevant experience and the determination to develop their career with the College will be considered. Trafford College recently celebrated receiving an outstanding accolade from Ofsted following a recent inspection this June. The report is tribute to the remarkable progress that has been made since the merger, and the quality of service that the College has provided.
