Lecturer in Engineering (CAD)

Highbury College has a fantastic new opening for a positive and enthusiastic individual looking to work as a Lecturer in Engineering. This role is teaching/lecturing on Level 2 - 4 Autodesk CAD and up to level 5 in Mechanical Engineering. Therefore, you will need a qualification in Mechanical Engineering (minimum HND) and CAD (level 3) and have experience of delivering training at this level.
 

The main duties of this post are:

· Lecturing and teaching on range of subjects, on mechanical areas and CAD

· Delivering theoretical and practical classes 

· Successfully delivering varied aspects of C & G, BTEC, HNC & D Engineering programmes

· Providing guidance and mentoring throughout the learning programme

· Demonstrating expertise and professionalism, including during Ofsted inspections

· Documentation of the learning process

· Undertake up to 850 hours of contact time per academic year including evening classes

Requirements:

· Possess a relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification

· Holds appropriate teaching qualification

· Has relevant subject expertise

· Has excellent interpersonal skills

· Good communication skills

· Work both independently and as part of a team
