We are looking for an outstanding, innovative and inspirational experienced lecturer who will be part of the engineering team to build upon the achievements and strengths of the College and share their outstanding teaching knowledge to further raise the standards and reputation of the college.     


Sandwell College has a very successful and expanding Engineering Department; we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and talented teacher within our Level 2 – 3 curriculum. Not only are we expanding our provision within the traditional engineering subjects but we are also expanding into new technologies including 3D printing, Rapid Prototyping, Electronics, Design, CNC and CAD.     


This role, therefore, could be your opportunity to create and deliver a unique engineering unit within the BTEC programs offered. In addition, you will need to be able to teach other engineering disciplines that you are comfortable with. It is a real opportunity for you to inspire leaners and prepare them for Higher Education or employment having been provided with the skills and technical knowledge you will bring with you.     


This role would be ideal for a Qualified Engineer or Lecturer looking to enhance and develop their career at a forward thinking, enthusiastic and vibrant College. Sandwell College delivers Engineering courses up to HND and teaching staff are actively encouraged to progress internally both with their own education and with the level of teaching delivered.
