We are seeking to appoint an English teacher to teach Functional Skills and GCSE English at Merton College. This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic teacher to join a strong team of English teachers in helping young people achieve their English qualification. The ability to teach across all Functional Skills levels and GCSE, as well as to support vocational colleagues in improving the English skills of their students, is essential. We are seeking a teacher with the knowledge and willingness to make English relevant to primarily 16-19 year olds on a range of vocational courses. You will also need to be a proactive member of the course team in developing different areas of the provision offered by the College.
