Riseholme College, part of Bishop Burton College is looking for an enthusiastic Lecturer in Equine to join our reputable Further Education Equine department. Our department has seen sustained growth in student numbers alongside a diverse and varied curriculum.
Primarily based at the Riseholme Campus, you will be delivering a range of Level 1, 2 and 3 equine modules; including Land based Access to Higher Education. As an enthusiastic Lecturer in Equine, you will be responsible for quality improvement including lecturing to groups of students, lesson preparation, planning, marking of assessed work and writing examinations.
Qualified to degree level in an equine related degree with an equine coaching certificate you will also have a Level 2 in both English and Maths or be willing to work towards this.
You must have relevant industry experience in equine science and management in addition to excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to positively engage with students and to further develop their interest in Equine. A teaching qualification is desirable, although not essential as we will support you in your teaching development.
