The Equine department has excellent resources to enhance teaching and learning including a variety of external competitions, water treadmill and spa. We have also been selected to host the prestigious FEI Pony championships in August. As an enthusiastic Equine Science lecturer, you will be teaching Level 4, 5 & 6 students and perhaps some Further Education students, across a variety of Equine related subjects. You will also assess, mark and report on students’ work as well as managing and maintaining student morale and behaviour.
Experienced in teaching Further Education and Higher Education students within this subject area, you will have recent industry experience in Equine Management & Science. A related Master’s degree is essential alongside evidence of continuous professional development. Equine coaching experience and qualifications would be desirable although not essential. A teaching qualification is also desirable, though not essential, as we will support you in your teaching development.
