Our Functional Skills department are a passionate team who are dedicated to the young people they work with. Sandwell College is now looking to appoint two experienced and fully qualified Functional Skills lecturers to teach English and Maths on a fixed term basis. You must hold a subject specialism and have experience in delivering Functional Skills English or Maths to students aged 16-18 within FE across a wide range of vocational areas. You will be inspirational in your teaching and demonstrate the ability to motivate our learners to achieve their targets and careers goals.

It has two state of the art campuses in West Bromwich accessible through excellent transport links and, following a successful merger with Cadbury Sixth Form College, has an exciting presence in Birmingham.
The majority of the College’s full-time students are aged 16-18, studying courses designed to give them skills for the modern workplace in a learning environment fully equipped with a specialist automotive centre, beauty and hairdressing salons, computer suites, construction workshops, engineering and science laboratories, fashion and photography studios, a sports hall and a 170-seater theatre.
