Job overview
The Loughborough College Preparation for Work department are seeking an English Lecturer, to teach Functional Skills English temporary to a wide range of Learners in L1 vocational settings and SEND programme from September 2019-February 2020.
We are looking for someone who will deliver inspiring teaching and learning and monitor progress in lessons ensuring all learners are on track to achieve their target grades through implementing appropriate assessments and providing high quality feedback.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and able to demonstrate the ability to motivate and engage learners through the use of varied teaching and learning strategies.
You will be required to teach English Functional Skills and GCSE to our learners and it is expected that you will have previous experience of teaching both of these qualifications. A relevant degree or equivalent is essential and applicants must already possess a teaching qualification. You must have strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
