The role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and inspiring Lecturer in Health & Social Care, who is committed to providing innovative teaching and learning to ensure that our learners receive the best educational experience.
The post will involve the marketing, delivery and assessment of a range of courses across the curriculum in the area of Health & Social Care predominantly up to Level 4. Course Leadership and internal verification responsibilities will also be involved in the job role.

Applicants must possess a degree or equivalent appropriate qualification, and a Teaching Qualification to the required national standards. Level 2 in English, Mathematics & ICT qualifications are essential as is a commitment to attainment of student success.

Annual leave
Academic staff are entitled to 40 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales.
Business Support staff are entitled to 30 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales.
College Management Team are entitled to 35 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales.
The College is closed for 2 weeks during the student Christmas break during which time all staff are granted additional leave to be taken at this time.
