Job overview

Health and Social Care Lecturers

Due to significant growth and expansion, two exciting opportunities have arisen for Lecturers in Health & Social Care. Provision in the department involves courses in Further Education with CACHE at Level 2 and 3, with Access to Health Sciences and a Higher Education offer in HNC/D Health.

The post holder will be able to contribute to curriculum delivery on Health and Social Care curriculum provision at Level 2 and Level 3 in Further Education.

Additionally, we are seeking experience and expertise in delivering to adults on Access and Higher Education courses.

The Healthcare Science T-Level route will be delivered at the college from 2022-23 and therefore we are seeking experienced professionals who have relevant occupational knowledge and competence in healthcare science. This knowledge and competence are demonstrated through experience and qualifications.

To summarise, areas of delivery across the two roles are categorised below. It is important when applying that candidates are specific as to which areas they have most competence and experience to deliver (there is no expectation that all areas can be delivered, candidates will be selected based on their suitability and experience at further stages of recruitment):

  • CACHE Level 2 and Level 3 courses in Health & Social Care
  • Access to Health Sciences
  • Higher Education HNC/D courses in Health
  • T-Level in Healthcare Science
