We are seeking a Lecturer in Health and Social Care with a specialism of Psychology Sociology and Criminology to join our Health, Science and Education division to promote and provide an excellent learning experience which ensures high achievement for all students.
Your responsibilities will include teaching and assessing on the Health and Social Care and Forensic and Criminal Investigation provision with a particular focus on Social Science specialisms. You will accurately assess and monitor student work to assure high achievement and progression.
The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge of current applied general qualifications and current issues in Further Education relating to the curriculum area. A degree or equivalent level qualification in Social Science and a recognised teaching qualification is essential for this role.
The salary for this post is £29,016 - £34,819.

The campus has superior sports facilities which include a large sports centre, with a climbing wall which meets the criteria for outward bound courses and a state-of-the-art fitness suite. There is also a UEFA standard, full-sized outdoor 3G pitch and a 5-a-side multi-use pitch. There are excellent facilities for performance and exhibitions including a 160 seat Performance Theatre and 110 seat Lecture Theatre.
