Role Title : Lecturer in Health, Social and Childcare

Location : Yale College

Contract Type: Permanent/Part time (3 full days)

Salary: £26,911- £41,598 pro rata'd pro rata'd

We have an opportunity for a lecturer in Health, Social & Childcare to deliver to our L1 Foundation Learners at college. If you are passionate about changing the lives of learners who may face significant barriers to learning, then we want to hear from you. We are seeking an innovative, creative lecturer to support our learners to achieve and progress to the next stage of their development. In order to be considered for this role, you must have proven experience and competence within Health, Social and Childcare and hold a level 3 qualification as a minimum. 

This is a permanent 0.6 vacancy.

As a Lecturer at Coleg Cambria you will be required to deliver both practical and classroom-based learning to our students. You will also be responsible for enrolling students on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities as well as ensuring the safety and welfare of our students at all times.

Essential Requirements

  • PGCE Qualified or willing to work towards
  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self motivated, flexible, well organised and able to work independently using own initiative
  • Must be able to demonstrate empathy to learners who may have significant challenges
  • Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own transport.
