This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to develop their career as a Main Grade Lecturer in IT. The Faculty for Engineering, Construction and Computing Technologies has experienced significant growth in our student base due to high demand and our links with industry have also stimulated growth in apprenticeships.
We are now seeking to appoint a highly qualified and enthusiastic IT specialist to deliver this aspect of the curriculum from Levels 1-5 on our BTEC FE and HE programs. The College has high standards of practice, and associated success rates are expected to be achieved.
Your strengths will be industry based in IT including ideally across both software and hardware at different levels. The successful candidate should either hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards achieving one for candidates applying straight from industry or for those that have minimal teaching experience.
