Job overview

Are you ready for your next challenge in Further Education?

Do you have a passion for education with plenty of enthusiasm to develop and inspire the next generation?

We are looking for outstanding and motivated teachers to join our Maths team and have opportunities for individuals to teach GCSE and Functional Skills Maths to our post 16 learners on vocational programmes and adults.

Successful candidates will hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in maths and a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards). A Level 5 specialism in teaching maths or a relevant degree would be highly advantageous.

You will have previous experience of teaching GCSE maths. You must also be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for teaching maths, with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed.

You will work with a dedicated team and have the opportunity to work with colleagues across the College.  Tailored training opportunities and a generous holiday entitlement are key benefits of the role.

A flexible approach to working hours is essential. We have opportunities on either a full-time or part-time basis, please specify in your application your preferred number of hours.  Job share arrangements will be considered.

Coventry College has two campuses (Henley Campus, Bell Green, City Campus, City Centre), you must therefore be able to travel between sites.

Candidates with a disability will be guaranteed an interview, providing they meet all the essential requirements of the post.

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.

The positions will commence around 20th August 2019.

Applications Close: Wednesday 22nd May 2019 at 12:00pm
