Job overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well qualified GCSE maths lecturer to plan and deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment for learners so as to maximise achievement and support continuous improvement.      


You will be required to teach and assess GCSE Mathematics to the 16-19 cohort in sessions that motivate and inspire learners.     


You will be required to:  

•To teach and assess GCSE Mathematics to young people.

 •To manage Learning Support Tutors within a teaching group. 

•To devise a programme of learning (scheme of work) with appropriate effective teaching and learning strategies, resources and assessments. 

•To maintain attendance registers, records of progress and ensure Learners are correctly enrolled with the College and Awarding Bodies. 

•To undertake professional development and training to contribute to individual and College development as agreed through the College Individual Professional review, so evaluating and enhancing own practice.

 It has two state of the art campuses in West Bromwich accessible through excellent transport links and, following a successful merger with Cadbury Sixth Form College, has an exciting presence in Birmingham.
