Job overview
Here at Carshalton College, we are now looking for a Lecturer in Plastering to train and assess students on College programmes and, in particular, contribute to the Plastering curriculum and it’s work with delivering NVQ’s, technical certificates and Apprenticeships.
With a Level 3 qualification in Plastering and proven industry experience, you will have the ability to teach and assess Plastering practices and be capable of working successfully as part of a team. With excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, you will be able to provide effective support to students or other individuals and be able to prioritise, meet deadlines and work in a pressurised environment.
A teaching qualification or the willingness to participate in staff development to achieve an appropriate qualification is desirable, as is knowledge of the accreditation framework and assessment strategies for Plastering and associated trades in the post-16 sector.
This position is based at Carshalton College.
