We are one of the highest performing colleges nationally on all courses at all levels, rated Ofsted ‘Outstanding’. Our current Construction provision consists of full time courses and apprenticeships from entry level to advanced in the majority of trade areas including: Painting and Decorating, Bricklaying, Plastering, Architectural Joinery & Site Carpentry.   

We are looking for someone who works with confidence with a wide variety of ability levels, who is a committed team member and who projects an enthusiasm for their subject. The successful applicant will be expected to provide high quality teaching on education programmes, and to contribute to providing an outstanding learning experience for our students.

The successful candidate will be teaching and delivering on our Plastering courses. Delivery will include both practical and theory sessions covering a range of elements, such as, health and safety, principles of the industry, applying plaster and render, boarding and beading and fibrous moulding. 

Please detail any subjects that you are qualified and experienced in delivering, and to what level. Applicants should be well qualified in the subject area and ideally have a relevant teaching qualification although there may be opportunities for those wishing to move into teaching as a change in career direction. If you are not a qualified teacher already this should not deter you from applying. For example, if you are an experienced industry professional, looking for a career change, then funding may be available to support teacher training.  

There is the potential for full time hours for the right candidate.
