Lecturer in Plumbing

A new opportunity has become available at our Bersham Road site working within our Construction function as Lecturer in Plumbing. The vacancy is a permanent part time vacancy for 22.2 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be required to teach and assess on NVQ levels 1,2 and 3 so it is essential that candidates have relevant and recent industry experience within plumbing and heating specifically within installation and maintenance of plumbing and gas installations.

We require candidates to possess a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in a Plumbing or Heating & Ventilation related subject. The ideal candidate will also possess a PGCE or Cert Ed or be prepared to undertake one of these teaching qualifications.

Although it is not essential it would be preferable if candidates have knowledge and experience of working within a teaching or training context.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this position.

A DBS Disclosure and a registration with the Education Workforce Council will be requested from the successful applicant being offered the position.
