Job overview

Chichester College is recruiting a Lecturer who can deliver Level 3 Psychology and Criminology as well as A level, Access and BTEC Programmes. There is projected to be a significant increase in student numbers in these popular subjects and we are looking to expand the current Social Science department.

You will have a teaching qualification and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply. You will also have a passion for teaching as well as an innovative and creative approach in the classroom, with a focus on student learning. You will be able to deliver engaging and inspiring teaching, learning and assessment using up to date resources and have an ability to adapt teaching styles for the varied cohorts on our Level 3 programmes.

Chichester College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, general further education college situated in West Sussex. It is a 16-plus institution with two main sites in Chichester and Pulborough, plus further outreach centres in Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Worthing. It has links to local employers, most of a small to medium size. 

Chichester College of Arts, Science and Technology, as it was formerly known, opened in 1964. Chichester College has been offering work-based training since 1996. It has approximately 10,897 part-time learners and 3,732 full-time students.
