We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated lecturer at our Truro Campus with experience of delivering Sociology who will combine appropriate academic and teaching qualifications with the ability to inspire students and maintain excellent working relationships in a successful department. The position may include teaching across FE (including Access to HE) and HE provision. Consideration of applicants wishing to undertake this position with full-time or part-time hours will be made.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide high quality teaching on education programmes, and to contribute to providing an outstanding learning experience for our students.

We are looking for a committed team member who works with confidence with a wide variety of ability levels and who projects passion for all aspects of the subject.

Candidates will also be committed to our tutorial programmes. Applicants should hold a degree or similar professional qualifications and a recognised teaching qualification. As well as teaching, the successful candidate is likely also to have responsibility for a tutor group.
