THE LEARNER SUPPORT SERVICE consists of a successful and well established team providing support for learners with a wide range of disabilities, learning difficulties and medical conditions.   

We are looking for an experienced specialist teacher who can demonstrate a person-centred approach and a track record of improving the success rates of learners on mainstream provision who have, for example, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, ASD or Asperger’s Syndrome.  

You should have experience of teaching 1:1, small groups and whole groups; ideally in the post 16 sector from entry to level 4. You will need a teaching qualification and a recognised specific learning difficulties qualification for teaching and assessing for exam access arrangements. You must have a good working knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2015 and the skills and knowledge to act as one of our Lead Professionals in the EHCP process.  

this post will be based at our Merton Campus.
