A lecturer is required to take an important role in the delivery of full time and part time courses in Sport, Active Leisure and Public Services. Currently the provision uses predominately Pearson BTEC qualifications, across levels 1 to 3.

Working with the Programme Leader and the wider department team, the lecturer will plan, provide and monitor high quality teaching and assessment of students work. The lecturer will also provide support and guidance in preparing students for further/higher education, training or employment. The lecturer will have an outward facing approach to engaging learners in the wider community and vice versa to ensure that learners gain a vocationally relevant and enriching experience.

This post carries a five year housing licence. If appointed, you can expect to:

Salary will be in accordance with the Guernsey Lecturer Pay Scale (grade 1-14) of £26,898 - £48,396 per annum.

Guernsey College of Further Education has over 5,000 enrolments each year and offers a wide range of courses for the Bailiwick community.  We have 5 key areas of provision: 

•  14-16 – high school pupils can access a range of vocational qualifications as part of their year 10 & 11 provision.
