Lecturer in Sports

 Reporting to the Curriculum Area Manager for Sport, Travel and Uniformed Public Services this is an exciting role for a dynamic individual. Sport is based at the Oswestry Campus and makes full use of the excellent sport facilities at the Oswestry Campus. You will be expected to enhance learning by organising and implementing a range of study trips, external speakers, and residential tours, UK and Overseas based. Consequently the sport programme is action packed with lots happening beyond the classroom. Learners are encouraged to take a range of qualifications including a range of National Governing Body certificates. Applicants must be passionate about sport, but also committed and equally as passionate towards the teaching role. The role would have Course Leader status and the college would expect the post-holder to grow and maintain the current high success rates.
