Lecturer in Travel and Tourism
University College Birmingham are seeking to appoint an experienced Lecturer to contribute to the teaching and learning in a variety of programmes, predominantly at Level 2 and Level 3, in the Department for Hospitality and Tourism. Our FE offer in the department is growing and includes all areas of Travel and Tourism as well as related topics such as Hospitality and Aviation.
The successful candidate will use their sector experience, combined with a background of teaching or training to inspire and enthuse students from a range of backgrounds. You will be an effective communicator, with well-developed IT skills, who thrives on working within a dedicated team. You will be able to balance competing priorities to meet deadlines and provide opportunities for outstanding outcomes for learners.
You will have a real passion for your subject, as well as experience of providing well-being and pastoral support to students from a range of backgrounds.
You will have experience within industry to bring to the role and ideally have taught at college or undergraduate level previously and be degree-level qualified.
