As the ‘Further Education College of the year 2019’, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Lecturer in Public Services to join us on a permanent basis, reporting into the Head of Section who oversees the Public Services department at the College.


As part of this role you will deliver specific programmes in line with the college’s aims and objectives for this area’s curriculum plan. You will work closely with management, colleagues and students to ensure success for both college and students. Your confidence and excellent communication skills will also ensure a great partnership with our stakeholders too.


This is a great opportunity for individuals with previous experience in Travel and Tourism to help shape the future of our department. Not only will you be leading tutorship on the course and sharing your experience and knowledge but you always be creating opportunities for students, including work experience. You will be motivated and have great interpersonal skills and an ability to engage, motivate and support mixed ability learners.


An academic background in Travel and Tourism would be fantastic, along with a recognised teaching qualification, (L5 or above). We will also consider someone who is willing to work towards obtaining this qualification and has experience of working in a Travel and Tourism role which would be relatable to the areas we teach. We are looking for individuals who can inspire our students with passion and enthusiasm.

 It has two state of the art campuses in West Bromwich accessible through excellent transport links and, following a successful merger with Cadbury Sixth Form College, has an exciting presence in Birmingham.
