Job overview

The Learning Support Section at Uxbridge College consists of a small team of specialist lecturers supporting a wide range of students across the College, through additional one-to-one taught sessions.  We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to provide 1:1 taught support to students with Specific Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities and to tutor a number of students with Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) from across the college. 


You should possess a degree or equivalent qualification and an advanced level teaching qualification (e.g.Diploma in Education and Training (DET)), or be willing to undertake this qualification, supported by the College.  A specialist learning support qualification is desirable.   You should have experience of providing teaching and learning support to students with specific needs and have knowledge of recent developments in the provision of learning support.
