Role Title: Lecturer of History

Location: Yale

Contract Type: Fixed Term (August 2023), Part Time 0.83 FTE

Salary: £27,382 to £42,326 (Pro rata) (upper pay range points UP2 and UP3 are subject to evidence of previous progression to Upper Pay Spine)

We are now recruiting for a Lecturer of History to deliver our AS and A2 History courses, as well as contribute to the teaching of the Advanced Skills Challenge qualification.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have proven experience and competence lecturing History as a subject and hold the relevant teaching qualifications.

As a Lecturer at Coleg Cambria you will be required to deliver both practical and classroom based learning to our students. You will also be responsible for enrolling students on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities as well as ensuring the safety and welfare of our students at all times.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified to at least Level 6/Undergraduate Degree Level in a relevant specialist subject area 
• Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)
• Able to identify, interpret and apply specific knowledge to practice
• Competent digital literacy skills.
• Be able to develop and use a range of teaching and learning techniques
