Lecturer: Plumbing and Heating/Gas   

To carry out a full range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of learning programmes as appropriate.

Salary: Associate Lecturer Scales 1 – 4, £20,020 - £23,626 per annum pro rata.   Main Grade Scales 1 – UP1, £23,626 - £36,637 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers).

Hours of Work: Band C.  Annualised hours 417.5 – 536 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends). 

Contract: Permanent, flexible fractional.   

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Afan College (to teach at Afan College, Neath College and Swansea Campus).  

Qualifications: Candidates must have a level 3 qualification in Mechanical Services (eg NVQ in Plumbing/Gas or equivalent) and have relevant industrial experience.  You must have a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent).  Candidates must also hold a teaching qualification (although training may be provided) and have relevant teaching experience in ACS delivery.  Candidates should be IT literate equivalent to level 2.
