About the role: 

You will contribute to the delivery and assessment of the FdSc in Policing. You must have the ability to teach policing across core areas of the policing curriculum including: Quality Policing, Evidence & Procedure in Policing, and Police Powers and PACE. The successful candidate will be educated to degree in a relevant discipline area.  The successful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of policing in general and ideally in one of the above discipline areas and be capable of delivering modules in these areas at a range of levels.  The successful candidates will need excellent presentation and communications skills.  

About you: 

The successful candidate will be expected to draw on recent and relevant knowledge of national, initial police learning and development curriculums. A sound understanding of professional practices in policing, experience of development of policing curriculums and an understanding of quality assurance is required, in addition to a background in the delivery of training and support to students.
