We currently have a vacancy for a part time lecturer in our 'Prep 4 Life' department. The department delivers outstanding learning programmes for students with learning difficulties and disabilities, enabling the students to progress into employment, further vocational training, or independent living. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach students with a wide range of needs, including students with more complex learning difficulties and disabilities, on Pre-Entry and Entry level study programmes. The department has exemplary facilities and outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, and we are looking for a highly skilled teacher to join the existing team.
The successful applicant will hold a recognised full teaching qualification and a vocational minimum level 3 qualification in an appropriate subject.
The role will involve working 27.5 hours per week and will be based at our Conway Park Campus in Birkenhead, Wirral. The successful applicant will be able to join the College's pension scheme as well as receive the College's generous holiday entitlement.
